At First Sight...

We muddle around with Skype for a few moments.
Turn the sound down and balance telephone to ear so as to not wake the babies.
I listen to Lilly and watch as her image finally flickers on the screen.
She is holding our magazine in her hands. It is the first time I have seen it.
It is the first time we have seen each other in over 12 years.
A (very BIG) meeting of the magazine and it's makers on the same day.

An immediate exchange of story-houses and ocean-boats. Our first face to face meeting. I photograph the first smile.

The magazines are due for collection this week once the print poster has been trimmed and parcelled between the BIG pages. We aim to have copies of our First Flight in the hands of subscribers by our launch of Sept 30th and the magazine on the shelves of some very fabulous stockists by the first week of October. Getting closer!
